Hey all I just the Maschine. Installed the software on my Mac and usb the controller in to the mac. Im running through the manual step by step to familiarise myself with everything. But what i see in the manual is different to what is on the digital displays why is this. I am referring to the fx in the manual it tells me to press sound which is button 4 but on my controller is button 3 and on the right hand display i just have the tabs sample 1 2 3 i have to go on to the software to assign the fx to either tab 1 2 3 why is this. How am i meant to learn if the manual doesn't correspond with the hardware?

You need to look at the 1.6 Addendum, as the manual you are looking at is for version. 1.5. Most things are the same but there are a few changes, which are indicated in the Addendum. And there are, of course, additional things in 1.6 too, which are also addressed in the Addendum.

Thanks for answering my problem. Where will I find the Addendum?

I'm assuming it's installed in the same place as the manual or you can get all the reference materials from the product page on the NI site.

Be aware that the manuals are all still for 1.5 - the 1.6 addendum is the only update manual at this point in time (in English, anyway).

I took the files to a shop and had them printed and spiral-bound. Makes it a whole lot easier to read through!

    Good luck and enjoy Maschine!
