    Hey There,

I seem to be having some major problems running Akoustik Piano in Protools. Ive had the same problem with both PT7 and PT8, so Im assuming that I might be doing something wrong here.

When using Akoustik Piano, the second that I hit the sustain pedal, the note freezes, and the software crashes. Happens everytime.

Oddly, it seems to work fine in Cubase.

Just to make sure that Im using the plugin correctly in Protools...here's how Ive been running it:

    1) Ill open a stereo audio track and choose Akoustik Piano as an insert on the track
    2) I then open a midi track, and point the output of this track to the Akoustik piano plugin.

Thanks in advance for your help. ive searched the forum here, but cant seem to find a clear answer.

Why aren't you just creating a stereo instrument track for AP? It handles everything in a single track instead of having two tracks.

Pretty new at this...didnt know that you could do that.

    Thanks for the advice.

Still seem to be having the same sustain pedal issue though. Any ideas?
