Make a damned Maschine DAW MODE now!

I strongly feel like my productivity would skyrocket if I just sold the damn thing. But then I'd have to admit defeat...

 

I'm kind of the same way as time goes by. The expansion investment and my MK1 circa 2009 only worth $100 keep me around and hopeful. But if Battery or Cubase's Groove Agent could import NI Expansions with some parameters working, I would move.

 

I guess we'll never have integration. NI not interested in "playing nice" with other companies. Unlike Ableton whose "Link" is now supported by Propellerhead's Reason and will be an industry standard within a few years. Instead NI wants to create it's own ecosystem that is half baked and will never be an actual "profession" product. It is a real shame since the sounds are so good.

 

It is a "profession" product. Plenty of producers making a living using it. They mentioned in on the record they would work on better integration with other DAWs, but it was quite clear the focus for them is the sequencer as of now.

 

There are producers that are making a living just using a Maschine without an additional DAW? Who?
