So I finally learned how to use the Akkord thing last night and I think it's pretty great. I made a quick mix of a song I'd written in hopes that my friends would be surprised when I told them it was samples (though I'm not an idiot, I know it doesn't sound exact). The one friend I sent it to is a guitarist and she realized it was a loop cause, as she said, real guitarists don't play that perfect. So I was thinking, since it's open source, has anyone ventured into programming something so that you can assign, for example, a step in a pattern that with some degree of randomness replaces a "Normal down" with a "Mute down" or replaces a "Mute" style with a "Fret" style every so often, so that it's not exactly the same each time?

I know very little about programming and I haven't even looked at programming the script (I don't even think I'd know where to start) but I thought maybe someone'd tackled this already?

You should give script Strummer a try. It is posted on the Kontakt User Lib under Scripts->Performance. It basically lets you hold the chord with your left and and assign a strum up / down with your right. Also has other features like speed of strum, velocity amt to apply to speed as well as 12 string mode.
