Another example of my looper ensemble in action - sound sources were a Speak&Spell machine, mains hum and a broken drum machine. All looped/chopped/effected in the latest incarnation of my Reaktor ensemble referenced above (it now has timestretching capabilities).

    cloud sampler and Kinski

thought this is appropriate for this thread.

Been discovering the wonders of grain cloud sampler, particlesynth (Travelizer, Frame 3 by Peter Dines, GraineX). Overall i think i went nuts on these ensembles (10, or so Reaktor instances of theses .ens), hence the post in this section.

Most samples are k. Kinski's unspeakable performance in 'Jesus der Erloeser'; Kinski at his apex.

Here are some examples of Reaktor used in rock musc - such a broad term, I know...

    From a former band, SSB.

Firstly, an ambient-ish remix I did of my favorite song off the album:
    http://grooveshark.com/s/Once+Moved+Broken+Mix/2TEAQU?src=5

here is the original of the above song (also has quite a bit of Reaktor stuff going on - but is a bit more reflective of our live show vibe):
    http://grooveshark.com/s/Once+Moved/2TEA1W?src=5

And I am sure all Reaktor fans will be able to immediately spot the Reaktoring going on in this song:
    http://grooveshark.com/s/Send+And+Return/2TEAIH?src=5
I feel like this song was only ever 75% complete. We never quite got the chorus figured out - but still, I think was a fun use of Reaktor.

p.s. Headphones are (almost) an absolote necessity!

FIFTY MORE WAYS TO LEAVE YOUR OEUVRE (PICKS)

FWIW...from a continuing series of random collages with local self-generated materials, many or most involving Reaktor in one way or another ;-)

We totally need some kind of new notational system for this new music, otherwise it's impossible to gauge the relationship of human effort/intention to the final product (sound) outside of hearsay. Anyone down?
