1. We're currently conducting systematic tests with the release version of macOS 11 (Big Sur) in order to offer full compatibility of our products as soon as possible. You can find our latest compatibility status - here

Please note that although announced at the same time as macOS Big Sur, Apple Silicon processors are an independent release with separate compatibility concerns for NI products. Compatibility with macOS Big Sur will not yet ensure compatibility with Apple Silicon processors. At the moment, Native Instruments products are not supported on computers with Apple Silicon processors. Read more - here

I bought iZotope Stutter Edit 2 this morning and tried it out with Reaktor. I don't know much about it yet, but it looks like a lot of fun.
I use OMega 3 as the sound source and use the MTS sequencer in OMega 3 to play a snapshot. The same MIDI data is sent to Stutter Edit 2.
OMega 3's audio output is sent to Stutter Edit 2 and then to the Master out.
I demo a few random presets in Stutter Edit 2.
These presets, called 'gestures', are triggered by a range of MIDI notes, one note per effect.
I have not set up the note effects to be meaningful, this is just how it comes out of the box.
This video is available in HD as well as SD.

On the 12th August 2000 the nuclear-powered Oscar-class submarine named The Kursk sank in the Barents taking the live of all 118 personnel on board. To honour the 20th anniversary of the tragedy, Tao Tone are releasing this EP as a tribute to those that sacrificed their lives that day. Heroes of the Deep - is a piece made from submarine related sound design and a poem in the breakdown written in the voice of a crew member in his final hours.
Reaktor is all over this piece and the other tracks on the EP. Most notably OreKore's ensemble 'Kursk', which largely inspired the track.

The rhythm is all done with Komplete samples
Other NI instruments used include Form.

I'm messing around with ZooTook's "Juice 3" ensemble, trying to recreate my favourite patch from a Steinberg synth i have.

    https://soundcloud.com/peter-bols/desert-strike

This is the result. It still needs some work, but its late at night so i'm posting it as is.
Almost everything, apart from the drums, has at least a pinch of "Black Widow" overdrive on it.
If anyone has a good ensemble for some random synth bleep bleep bloop (i LOVE what Paule is doing!), hit me up. This piece needs it.

Ough! It's very different to my AmbieGarde style. Most end-users told me they miss a melody in my tunes.
Pop needs melodies but I don't like pop music or mainstream. So there is a hidden 'melody'.

Thank you Paule! I'm checking out the instruments you posted, and more of your music, when i get home!

I'm not very good at making drone/generative music. I do it some times, but with a tape recorder and guitar/bass/effects. It's not that easy making it good!
So far i love what i've heard from you!
