    hi all

just had the motherboard of my laptop die so it is no longer bootable state however my hard disc is fine with all my info, mp3s on it etc.

i need traktor scratch duo tonight and have managed to borrow a laptop and can install traktor on to it.

i copy get all my mp3s from the hard drive to my spare laptop by taking the disc out and using a caddy to copy across but i just wondered if there is anyway possible that the playlists can be copied too? see as i cant access traktor at the minute to export them!

my last backups are a few weeks out of date so it all really needs to be copied across from the system.

    thanks

the collection.nml file contains all your playlist, so you should copy that over! be prepared that the paths probably are effed up on the other computer and you have to relocate your tracks on the new computer.

Yes. In the Native Instruments/Traktor folder you have a folder called BackUp.
    This has previously dated collection.nml

Simply import the last collection that was functioning properly. This might be the last session where Traktor was shut down successfully and before the import of some mp3s (or files).

Corrupt Collections are often caused by corrupt files that have been added to the collection.

Give a collection.nml a go and post up what happens...
