    Hi,

it is not actually a feature suggestion, but I don't really know where else to put it:

In the getting started guide for Maschine mk3 (downloaded yesterday as of writing this) it says in 12.3.1.5 to hold ERASE+EVENTS + Pad/Group in order to quickly erase all the events for a pad or a group. That shortcut is actually SHIFT+ERASE+EVENTS as I realized today when the shortcut from the manual did not work.
I can remember a few other times when things from the manual did not work the way they are described or I had already figured out that it actually was slightly different and as I think the manuals are quite important, I thought I'd start a thread about whatever needs to be edited.

No, if you add Shift you don't just delete Events, you delete the whole Group/Sound, regardless the manual is still incorrect.

If you want to remove events from a Pattern just use Shift+Pad9 (Clear), it wipes the whole pattern if nothing is selected or just removes what is selected.

I'm also not sure how to deal with manual mistakes but the feature suggestion sub-forum doesn't seem appropriate, I'll move it to the main forum, maybe other users can also share mistakes they find so the NI team in charge of manuals might see it.

Yea, no wonder the events were gone...the whole sound was indeed erased. Damn, I didn't realize. Basically, there is no difference if you use SHIFT+ERASE or SHIFT+ERASE+EVENTS and a pad. Which begs the question if there is any working button shortcut at all for this, like the manual proposes?
