Just reading the manual for the first time, and cant tell if its just me or this is a terrible typo. What is this section even talking about, not sure where deck B is coming in the picture. Can someone clarify which deck should be doing what here when 'Aligning Tracks' ? section 2.5.2 of manual:

    2.5.2 Aligning Tracks using HotCues

    Aligning two tracks is straightforward:

    1. Make sure that Deck C is playing.

    1. When you hear a downbeat in the other track, press the pad with the HotCue you just used to store the downbeat position.

→ The playback position on Deck B jumps to the stored Cue Point, and the playback contin- ues from there. Both tracks now are perfectly aligned and ready to be mixed.

Setup leading up to this says load a track on deck a, and create a single hot cue. Sounds like making something very simple super complicated

No it's not a typo. It's saying, have a track playing in deck C so that you have some beats to align your hotcue in deck A to.
It's probably a bit confusing as its displayed over several pages in the manual.
