Mapping MIDI to Reaktor FX in Live

    Hi -

    I'm desperately trying to get a Reaktor FX (5) instrument to receive MIDI messages through Live 5. At the same time as I am running the Reaktor FX instruments in Live, I am also running Reaktor (the app) to generate MIDI messages (need to do this to convert/manipulate OSC signal into MIDI messages). I can't figure out how to get the Reaktor FX instrument to listen to the messages that Live is receiving (I know Live is receiving the messages 'cause they can be mapped to other controls). Here's what I've tried:

    1) Mapping the controller/channel of the Reatkor FX controller to the same in the running Reaktor app (i've tried this with both a MIDI In controller and a Knob).
    2) Publishing a knob in Reaktor FX and letting Live convert the MIDI message to a panel message (but I can't figure out how to assign MIDI messages to parameters in Live's "assignable x/y control" UI.

    Please help. Any suggestions are appreciated... I know there's gotta be an answer to this.

    Do you have the record button on on the MIDI channel that contains your Reaktor instrument or FX?
