mapping midi with scratch pro?

when i go to preferences with traktor scratch, my mixer, is there, along with the audio 8 soundcard

so i then go to midi mapping, press midi learn, turn a midi knob, but nothing

in the midi setup, do i have to do something there?

ive tried it with both the X next to the evo 4, or without, any other ideas?

oh, im using a mac if that makes any difference

im sorry for being vague, but its my 1st time using a dvs, so im not too up on all the fancy terminology

Did you select your MIDI device in Prefs | MIDI Setup first?

 

You have a manual when you install Pro.

There will be an manual pdf located in the documentation folder.

 

found the manual, i bought a macbook for running traktor, and being honest, im finding that more difficult to figure out than traktor, im just so use the pcs

once i got the manual i figured it out, it will take a while to get things mapped the way id like, but thanks for the help
