    Hi forum,

I recently released a software tool (Mac only) which make those long mapping sessions to configure your hardware a thing of the past. Long story short: Xtreme Mapping 1.0 is Traktor's Controller Mapping panel on steroids, thanks to its set of convenient features such as:

    - Keyboard and full Undo/Redo support
    - Drag and Drop between different TSI files
    - Textual description of Modifiers and Parameters
    - Mapping Wizards for most common set of mappings
    - Filters to narrow the set of mappings in the window
    - Resizable and customizable user interface

It can create and edit any Generic MIDI mapping made with or for Traktor (version 1.2.4 or later) and Traktor 2 (any version).

It's $5.99/€4.99 on the Mac App Store, check this out: www.xtrememapping.com ;)

    very nice,
i wish i had this available when i was juggling around to get to my final mapping!
still, if i ever decide to upgrade to TP2, my workflow will change drastically,
and then i will for sure go with your app!
    congratulations !

    Hello,

Out of interest: Did you reverse-engineer the new TSI fileformat, or is it actually documented somewhere?

    Thanks.

Is this midi only? Or will it map the X1 and S4 in their native modes?

Any possibility of getting NHL files to work in the future? I feel pretty sure the answer is no, but I have to ask.

It crashed on me once today, but I had it open, controller manager open and was messing with a track with one of the X1's that was set in your app. Do you have an official bug report site?

EDIT: never mind on the bug report question

    Hey guys,
    here is a cumulative reply.

Q: Is this midi only? Or will it map the X1 and S4 in their native modes?
A: Version 1.0 only supports Generic MIDI mappings (who knows what's
    gonna happen).

Q: any news on a windows version?
A: No Windows version is planned right now.

Q: I can't purchase it as it's not in the US Apple Store.
A: It's on any Mac AppStore worldwide, try to search it directly.

For any other bug report or technical question please use the "Contact Us"
form on www.xtrememapping.com - I don't want this to become the support
forum for Xtreme Mapping mainly because it won't be fair to NI guys hosting
    and managing these forums.

Thank you for being interested in the app, cheers!

i'm sure you'd sell a stack load more copies if you also had a windows version.

just purchased... first actual app i paid for from the mac app store... anyway to have the comments show up on the main page (without having to select a command to view comments) maybe in future update?

nonetheless this is still an amazing app! props!

Edit: so far in my testing, after importing a mapping to XM, saving, and the importing back to traktor 2, ive been getting all kinds of bugs.. no changes to the mapping, just saving and re importing to traktor...

at the moment im going to have to continue to use traktor for mapping as MX is unstable at the moment.

@bigboibbp: if there's a bug it will be fixed. Please report it to info@xtrememapping.com eventually attaching the tsi file you imported in XM and has been messed up when re-imported in Traktor. Include the Traktor version you're running and whichever other detail you think might help.

Again, please report bugs using the mail address or contact form on our website, not this forum which is not intended for XM support!

I would strongly urge you to reconsider this. Do it right from the start, do it cross platform.

I would gladly pay $25 for a windows version with no hesitation...

If it would ensure that we get a windows version, I'd pre-order it right now. The midi mapping implementation in traktor has been my #1 peeve from day one.

if you are the developer, i would first off like to applaud your effort, the software is great and will only get better. And for the price, there wont even be a second thought on purchasing it, its a no brainer.

If this is your software i would also suggest checking this board for feedback aswell: http://www.djtechtools.com/forum/showthread.php?t=34552

i would have over cash today to preorder a windows version, 25$ would sound fair.
