After i updated to 1.6.2, i didnt recieve any plug ins at all! However i did by pass the original 1.6 beta update. After going into preferences> Plugins, theres just a blank list and if i try searching on my computer for plugins, i literally cannot find any of the maschine plugins.

Why haven't i received the plugins?

you need to download and install the komplete elements pack that you recieved for free, that pack has guitar rig player, kontakt 4 player,
    ---
    what plugin?

also make sure you are opening it up in the relevant maschine x86(32bit) x64(64bit)

if you make a project in x86 maschine then double click on it , and it defaults to opening the 64bit version you wont see your plugins if they are 32bit .

    you understand?

why do you say that bugsy99? sounds like a small user error nothing to get to worried about.

There's no reason to switch to mac if you're runnin Windows 7, 64-bit preferred.
I prefer Windows more because of my familiarity, but Mac is a great platform too.
If you dont have a good PC spec-wise, then an upgrade helps. But it is the costliest thing you can do, and usually the user is just doing something wrong (me included), but a bug in NI will be the same in any platform.

That's a bummer. I have this problem with Epicverb (32-bit). If I double-click the project file it opens up as 64-bit. So if I work on another project, and later go back to the original project with Epicverb, I have to open the the project file, wait for the error to show up, close it, and then open maschine 32-bit.

ya thats what i was thinking but after i made some test by making a project on x64(64bit) and end up with same problem ,plus ,when i open maschine there is always 3 patern that are there even if i press new project ,so i always have to delete them to start a new project ,anybody knows how to fix that
