Maschine 1.7/Komplete 8 integration video

I recently promised you guys a sneak peak of 1.7, so while you're waiting for the update (which is dropping on Monday) we thought you might like to have a look at this video tutorial with NI's Joshua Fielstra.

It hasn't been published on the NI YouTube channel yet, so just for the fine folk of this forum here's the goodness:

Loving it Will it be able to load multiple sounds for a muti preset... am I asking for alot or what!

 

Still no mention of what happens to us Komplete 7 users.

Can I upgrade my versions of Massive, FM8, Absynth, Reaktor Etc to the latest versions and have them work inside maschine 1.7?

If not why not?

 

Browsing across different VST's doesn't make sense to me, it takes considerable time to load the plugin. However looking at the video, browsing trough the presets of Absyth 5 gives instant results. Apparently the plugin is not being reloaded, just the preset seems to change. Smart!

so 1.7 the only updates is to do with the komplete 8 integration? surely there must be something in there for those that dont **** with komplete 8

Anyone know if you can upgrade from Komplete Elements? I just got an email from NI asking me to upgrade for $229.

 

they should work yes - at least i am reasonably sure of this.

anyway, the updates for Massive, FM8, Absynth, Reaktor, are available for download now. i suggest you download them, play all of them in Standalone Mode first, then try them in Maschine when the 1.7 update is released on Monday.

Wow your very unappreciative. NI put a lot of time into this. Why don't you just sell your NI software?

 

What we really NEED is multicore support, that is more an issue than everything else (timestretch, sidechain, browsing, whatever...).

 

not for me it isn't but yes for some people i agree it is an issue.

i wanna ditch my DAW sequencer and only use maschine

i also wanna route all my hardware synth trough maschine and use it as huge effects processor

 

That looks cool to me. Will be interesting to see how my Arturia JP8V integrates with it!

Edit: I wouldn't mind multicore support, either, though I don't really need it for what I'm doing so far.

 

Looks awesome. I never installed Komplete Elements, as i new I was getting Komplete 8 a few weeks later. So I will have loads of new sounds from within Maschine. Look forward to Mondays 1.7 release.

i would like to see it browsing kontakt presets,banks and komplete ultimate libraries,guess it will work like massive and absynth in the video but wanted to confirm it...ad what about reaktor too?

Just so I'm 100% clear - are Komplete 7 presets browsable in Maschine 1.7, or not?



(I'm guessing it is the latter, right?)
