    WHY THE F UCK NOT?
    wtf is wrong NI?
PT is one of the most, if not the most, used DAW in the music industry.

jesus christ... this makes me want to throw maschine against my brick wall.

Dunno. Don't have Pro Tools so can't comment. I'd imagine it's some technical issue to do implementation or standards as I can't see any other reason why it'd be 'left out' otherwise. Might come in the future?

Maybe you should blame PT for not making it easier to support
I don't blame NI for not supporting drag and drop in Cubase or vise versa

my $200 axiom midi controller can control PT's transport functions.
    but my $600 Maschine can't?

M-audio was owned (until a few months ago) by Avid. I'm guessing its a move by Pro tools to sell more product (Axiom).

lol I remembered that right after I hit the 'post quick reply' button.

still... WTF MAN.. I was so excited for this feature.

I HATE having to turn around to my macbook just to hit the space bar.

Is it compatible with Logic? I was thinking about buying Logic for quite some time now.

From my point of view, a hardware crossgrade has to be very cheap to be justified. I mean, I do not care about the colors, neither a new display nor changeable knobs. I am alright with the pads sensitivty, so there is not much left that would make me buy a new controller.
Also, one has to be aware that we are doing music. I do not think that a lof of people scratched more than the surface of their current euqipment, and every few months there is something new....One should focus on the music, not wasting time on speuclating and arguing about technical things and upcoming products.

Yes, I setup my own template. Basically, opened the key commands in Logic and presses midi learn for each function. Named all the pots for pan/send etc.

Works great. Logic price is very good these days as it's App Store purchase

the new maschine and the software improvements look sick. I'm hoping they will let existing users get the new controller for a special price, 350-400 tops.
