Maschine 1.8 to 2.0 upgrade issues?

Hi, im just about to upgrade, but i just want to make sure that i can still work on earlier projects where i now use Maschine 1.8, after the upgrade.

I use Maschine as a plugin in Logic, and have routed sounds and groups to different busses in Logic, where i have applied a ton of effects. In other words, if Maschine 2.0 work different than 1.8 in terms of routing things here and there, i have to re-do hours and hours of work...

v2.0 is a separate install.... you can keep 1.8 to work with all your existing projects

 

What can I do if I don't have 1.8 any more? All my old projects in logic say that it's missing. How can I covert them to work with 2.2?

If you are prepared for pain, you will probably have gain. Your choice on whether it is worth it.

This is the correct answer. Your DAW projects will refer to Maschine 1.8.
2.0 does not replace 1.8. If you have DAW projects that depend on 1.8 you need to keep it.
