Maschine 2.0 and Novation Automap Conflict

I installed the 2.0 software tonight and began testing it. Maschine Expansions seem to load and play back OK. However, loading VST plugins is problematic. First, the software rescans my VST plugin directory every time it boots. Secondly, it has decided that the Automap wrapped versions of my plugins are the ones to add to its internal database. When I try to add plugins, both NI and third party, to a project the Automap server launches and everything freezes up. Killing the Automap process via Task Manager frees things up but I can't load presets properly. With the Maschine 1.8.2 standalone software there is a Plugins Manager page under Preferences that lets me uncheck the Automap wrapped versions of my plugins and just use the original DLLs. Is there any way to do this in the 2.0 software? Also, how do I stop it from rescanning my VSTs every time it launches? Thank you.

You can untick plugins in the 2.0 preferences as per this screenshot. I do know that Maschine really does not like Automap at all.

 

I do see that page under Preferences. However, in 2.0 it is only showing me one version for each plugin. If I look under 1.8.2 Preferences it shows both the normal and the Automap version of each plugin so I can uncheck them. Version 2.0 also seems to be missing the "Scan at Startup" checkbox so it re-scans every time.

 

Maschine 1.x.x plays perfectly fine with Automap -- I'm an Automap power user -- I've created maps for all of my go-to plugins and use the automapped versions all of the time with Maschine with no problems.

Can't say anything about 2.x, but now I'm even more hesitant to switch than before. Lol.

same problem over here with 2.0. how can we fix this issue? auto map plugs are scanned every time at launch. Maschine hangs...

 

2.0 wouldnt even load for me either while I had Automap vst's in the directories. I never use them any longer so moved them all elsewhere and booted up fine.
