YUP! and try recording a big set up live in live ....nightmare 85%I'm testing live 9 and its about 2% better man.I too can bounce the tracks but it should be more limitless instead of choked out workflow.rewire and the use of syncopation between two comps would be amazing!

Yeah, but that kinda is my point, this is a general issue something currently best dealt with by just bouncing audio and live with this limitation. I am not saying you guys are wrong in a technical sense, but in a musical sense this stuff isn't stopping anyone from making music regardless of their daw of choice and such.

    My top requests

1.) Being able to move the start point on a pattern. Sometimes I know what I'm going for, but if I'm doing some crazy syncopation stuff that I am not sure what I'm digging yet, I'd like to be able to record everything and then go back later and say from measure 15 - 19 I want to keep.

2.) being able to export each pad in a pattern group as stems

3.) Being able to import midi into maschine. With the live 9 features that are coming out this would be amazing as you would be able to beat box/rip midi from audio and then import it into maschine for further processing/ideas

I would love to see a feature where you could loop from any bar to any bar in a pattern, e.g from bar 3 to 4 and then in the next pattern from bar 2 to 4.

I used this feature with most beats on my mpc2500 jjos and just (stupidly) assumed it would be an available feature in something as advanced as maschine. It's really really cool for getting crazy with vocal samples or even just drums. I know the work around is simple but it's quite time consuming. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be so hard to introduce to maschine? Basically in short, a feature where you can start a pattern from any bar.

    Thanks

A dedicated short cut to load a pattern into a traktor deck. I know it's greedy and I am so so so grateful for the drag and drop feature but a button would be cool purely so you could leave maschine in full screen while loading a pattern into traktor.

    Thanks

Something they should fix though are unexplainable drops in response time. Yesterday I couldn't playback my beat the way it was a couple days before. This is driving me nuts.

+1.. when i rehearse a part, i would like to be able to do this for a particular measure at times. this is a big minus with maschine, the only work around is to recreate the part on a different pattern or use midi and another DAW, and that is sort of annoying if you have the mood and don't want to play tech instead of music.

    My list:

    - Draw lines for automation along with the current paint option
    - Better copy/paste. Be able to paste midi notes wherever you want them to be in the pattern

    - More DAW like layout for scene arrangement.

I ask the latter due to the fact that I can't just freeplay patches throughout the whole song easily to add ambiance to tracks etc...

    These for sure

    +1

I've found the cause to this... it seems Maschine doesn't like certain programs I had running in the background. One of them being STEAM, another being my virusscanner.

Perhaps I should get me a separate PC for music creation with nothing but the Maschine connected. :p

It's not that Maschine doesn't like them, it's because they hog your system resources, not leaving enough for you to play the project you previously made.

Yeah, I suppose that is a more accurate way of putting it. :D

    1) Real time, time streching would be really cool.

    2) I would also like to see a chord featue where you could midi learn chords on to each pad like with the Korg M3. Also the ability to save the assigned chords as presets. Would also be great if the triggered chords play through the midi out for use in the daw.

    3) They could also add a midi phrase recorder that allows you to assign midi phrases to the pads and transpose those phrases across the pads or keybord depending on what mode you are in. Basically, it would be like sampling with midi. Midi out functionality, same as #2.

As far as #2 & 3 go, I know there are other hardware and software alternatives, but the more I can get out of one program helps my workflow. I think that these would go great with their VSTi intergration.

    Thanks,
    Quinn

    - scene mode inc. recording of mutes, FX Bypass, scene changes etc.

    - midi cc rec. from ext. synths etc.

    - audio routing (sidechain for Comp)

    - moveable start/stop points in pattern mode
or note shift like i remember from fruity-loops years ago

    - Group mutes, mutes and FX bypass via Midi-control

    - copy/paste FX + automation between all FX-Ports

sidechain and maybe some more fx
    more fx per pad
Midi effects like a arpeggiator, would be so sick being able to use it with hardware
a little fm drum synth ;)

Please make sure whatever you do will be fully compatible with all controllers. Don;t be tempted to do like apple and make older hardware slower or glitchy just because you can program it that way in software update.

I find that if I want to get a good "low-end theory" filter, I need to apply a LPF and then a secondary Filter effect.

Does anyone know how many dB the main filter is?

Easy Chord input as in Cubase 7

I would like to see a Chordtrack Function with differnt voicing choices (Piano, Guitar) like Cubase 7 for easier chord input...

The most wanted feature, from my point of view, is overwrite recording like in Ableton (as opposed to default Maschine overdub recording) without need to constantly hold / press some buttons. Maschine's software is really lacking that feature.

It is some really basic functionality that has to be implemented.

What's different compared to Ableton if i may ask? I like the Maschine overdub as it is, but I would like to be able to just start and stop recording at any position using a scrolling cursor. Timing-wise it works fine as is though.

In Ableton, you can select loop range, disable overdub, push record and play notes in, continuously overwriting it. The whole performance (until you stop recording) is saved and can be re-winded back to any point you want within that loop range.

Using this feature you can just play some beat / musical phrase until it's perfected without having to worry about mistakes, and then just stop recording and voila. Or you can rewind saved performance back to extract interesting ideas/improvisations you've found while playing.
