He's asking specifically about his own samples he has imported into the Battery library.

Battery 4 factory samples and kits do indeed show up automatically.

I appreciate the video Joe. Do you mind doing one just covering the software on the old Maschines? That's what I am at least interested in seeing is how the old hardware will implement the new features.

Yeah, it's good to know that you can add your own Battery kits into Maschine's browser too.

Hey, Saintjoe, are you allowed to tell me whether the VST version still comes in only three different non-adjustable sizes?

Can we run multi outs from vsts in 2.0?

Someone already confirmed that (I believe it was Saintjoe, IIRC).

Nice video St Joe! I have one question I'm hoping you can answer..

Is it now possible to extract either just the left portion or the the right portion of a stereo file to a new pad?

For example if I have a stereo sample with someone saying 'St' in the left channel & 'Joe' in the right channel ;) at the same time, can I drag from each side to a new pad so that I have 1 pad for St & 1 pad for Joe??

    Hope that makes sense!

What is new with "Advanced integration in MASCHINE 2.0 host software" for Komplete instruments?

You can control most parameters in Komplete instruments from the Maschine hardware if Maschine is hosting the vst. Or just pull up presets from the browser.

Thanks for the update. Could you give a tour of 2.0 on the MK1? Love to see how it will look on the now tiny screen.

Which is probably to give the users of the smaller Maschine units the necessary functionality of v2 when dealing with the lesser interface.
It would seem that will assure them a functional workflow with out having the expanded hardware set of the Studio.

Thanks SJ for the overview. I see fun time ahead for many of us, the new features in v2.0 brings back memories of the MV8800. I'm also curious to see if N-I has allow for legacy controller template compatibility since it's new coding involved. -peace

That's already the case though isn't it? I'm just wondering what's different for the new updates that all the Komplete instruments just got for Maschine 2.0.

Glad you like the video everyone, thought it would be cool to share something with the community!

I am going to try and answer some questions but please remember the software is still unreleased so there are some specifics that I can't speak on just yet :)

It doesn't operate like kontakt by dragging the corner to change sizes if that's what you mean

the new way they show up in the browser as well as the "mini view" that shows up in the mixer, all of the komplete devices show smaller versions of themselves within the mixer view, it's pretty cool :)

I will be uploading a video of the browser on an mk2 shortly, they did a really good job of making sure it works well with the older controllers.

You can still use the old controllers and controller editor to create templates as usual. And I feel you on the MV man, that thing was a beast, I had to get rid of mine though, it just was a bit too slow for me, but I loved the functionality, hope to see Maschine move even more in that direction personally :)

Yes, they made sure you still get a great experience with the current controllers, of course not everything will look the same as what's on the big screens of the Studio, but you will still feel right at home :)
