So I updated the software to the 2.10 version and for some reason, I can't change the audio drivers without having the software freeze completely. I don't know if this issue has anything to do with the update but I can't find any solutions to the problem. If anyone could help me it would be great! I'm losing my mind over it lol. I've already tried pretty much everything and I can't make it work.

What OS? What drivers are you trying to switch too? What drivers are you trying to switch from. The issue usually arises do to a incompatible sound device settings and or drivers. Do you normally switch between drivers on a regular basis? If so, explain why. All important info to determine what might be wrong!!!

    Peace,

Hey! I'm using Windows 10 Home version 1909, I'm trying to change the audio drivers from WASAPI (predetermined one) to ASIO to hear the audio through headphones connected to the computer. I've always done it this way but out of nowhere it stopped working and made the software freeze. I updated the Windows version and the Maschine software but aside from that, I haven't done major changes to what I've been doing since I got the software and I've never had a problem like this. Thank you btw for trying to help :D

Is the ASIO driver you are trying to switch to a driver for the same device? (Audio Interface) or a different device? Just trying to narrow things down!!!

    Peace,

Might this mean you're using ASIO4ALL?

Looks like I am having the same issue. I am sitting on WASAPI drivers right now inside Maschine. Interestingly it is not working anymore, it plays no sounds whatsoever. Trying to change the driver makes it crash.

Did you find a solution to your problem in the meanwhile?

Alright, dudes. I had contact with NI support and we did this, which helped.

Please know, that fiddling with your registry is no fun. Only do that if you know what you do :)

    1) Install ASIO4All (I had that installed all the time, it won't help alone, but it's important for the solution.)
    2) Check your soundcards and deactivate everything you do not use.
    3) Click on Start, type regedit. Follow this path in the file menu "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Native Instruments\"
    4) Delete "Maschine 2" folder.
    5) Find maschine.exe in your installation folder, right-click on it and execute as admin.
    6) Choose the ASIO4All driver.

    Worked for me!
