Hey, guys! 2.14.6 is terrible! I have updated to this version yesterday and what I've got:
    1. Noise issues during startup
    2. Crash ANYTIME I want to record my automation.

Have tested it on Big Sur and Monterey. Here is my crashlogs (btw I didn't found crash logs here /Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/, but I just copied messages from crash to txt) .

Thanks followth3blind, your bug is logged and the Maschine Teams are working on it. (Only happens with JAM so far)

Is this happening only in M1 Macs? Or are you guys experiencing it also on Intel ones / Windows?

thanks! but I tried to make automation on mk3, not jam, if it is a case, but jam also was connected.
Is there any solutions now to fix that? Can I somehow install older version (in native access I can install/reinstall only 2.14.6)?

On Windows 10 it only shows plugins from the VST3 and VSTPlugins folders. It recognizes my custom plugin folder path in preferences but after 4 scans still doesn't show plugins from my custom folder in the dropdown menu.

Why would we have to update Waves plugins with what it cost when all the old free stuff still works as intended..I find this extremly weird and comfort me in constant practices that do not serve anyone right, sorry once again to say everything out loud and if a simple lad from the corner of a lost countryside "doesn't get it" but vst/au is a basic standard format like "midi" that works fine since more than 20 years, so with all due respect to the industry and its hard work, a lot of stuff are difficult(even very hard) to swallow. Like I am a simple user who purchased products compatible with my ecosystem, the Maschine software support Mojave, but I don't upgrade for free to Ctalina or Big Sur because of the fierce and ridiculous amount of money I would have to pat to resize plugins that look too small because it seems technically impossible with all our knowledge and technics to offer a whole range of resolutions (using basic proportions math rules) etc etc and say "dude, if you wan't to work properly you have to buy 8K screen, Be on top of your updates, etc etc. I understand there is professionals and they always up their standard, but in the meantime if you offer your product to the masses, the hobbysts, the dreamers, and promote them that way, you can't keep working like that. Like i will never understand why my computer who was reading 240/360p videos in 2007 can't do so knowadays because of "security" concerns that could be handle way up in the chain (like servers, Internet providers, etc etc) and then DROP SUPPORT so quickly everywhere and everytime in the name of "PROGRESS" that simply empoverishe the masses to serve the 1% who live in a strange cloud watching and administrating everything from very very high. And keep pretendingh woring for "GREEN" economy whitch seem to hide a very ugly bigger picture that the common mortals like me would never understand. I will never stop begging the powerful to stop that nonsense. I don't like to amways be the guy who complains but it is all getting worse and from my area , I can't tell you that houses are full of perfectly sane and woring devices that are purposely broken by a not very honest industry hiding behind strange vertues

    >Why would we have to update Waves plugins?
Because the bug was on Waves side and not on NI's side. This is a free update for users who owns the plug-ins.

This is ultimately my fault and it should totally have been updated one way or another. This is not an excuse but I was focusing too much on the new platform lately, including what these threads will look like and lost track of what needs to be updated here.
Adil @ NI took care of it now and we'll make sure it doesn't fall behind again before we switch to the new forum.

As a future reference, anything you see available in Native Access is official.

Yes I understand that, but from my point of view who bought a waves plugin bundle through NI website in 2016/17, I am now still using the same version that cause bug in Maschine because of Waves ? or is there specifics issues from specific products / version from Waves that cause issues ? solving it by just upgrading is , sorry to say it, a very very expensive and not very serious solution. Would you suggest that I stick to an older version of Maschine where it was stable ? I understand that you have your own probleme between tech companies, but we, as simple customer would just like to know what to do, and what not to do. Since all of this had been going on, we are specialists in back up, downgrades, or even mods to keep this sustainable. add on top of this programmed obsolescence by apple and forced update by windows, I mean...when are we all going to Linux ...

Or... Just copy the app and plugins somewhere before updating. If the new versions has issues paste the old versions back.

I'm on PC... I just looked in my download folder... (I have NA setup to download there) and found the previous version there... I just installed it, it asked if I wanted to 'downgrade', and said yes... that's it.

Thanks for all of the posts about this. I was just about to update, but after reading this, I'll stick with the version I'm on.

What kind of noise are you guys getting? Is it a really high pitch constant tone? Like a alarm clock from hell?

I've made a short video to demonstrate it (WARNING: Turn down your speakers/headphones):

It's only on the right channel for me, you can even see it in Maschine's level meter, it goes all the way into the red.

Thanks. It's the same thing happening here.
Oddly I was doing some maintenance today saving all my projects with samples for hours with no issues, this started happening only with older projects I think, it also tends to happen more often when there's a plug missing for some reason; could be a coincidence tho.

Disabling and re-enabling a plugin or instrument immediately fixes it.
