This is my feeling about constantly complaining about the same thing:

“If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.”

I'm tempted to report this as spam/abuse. :p

What are you saying though? The standard "move on and use something else" if Maschine is not for you? While I agree to an extent if there are certain tools/features you need that Maschine cannot yet provide, but to many Maschine is their investment (in time and money) and is still a core part of their music work, so upping and leaving is not so easy. Also, for many, Maschine is this to them because it is so close to what they want/need and nothing else (not even Push 2 + Live) comes closer overall.

I am on mac and tried to speak to support in the past about it with no success saying its a well known bug. There is no way I can organize my VST's lets say in Abelton and use it in Maschine as it wont pick lit up. All vsts have to be in the right path for Maschine . you cant even have two copies of the vsts one for ableton and one for maschine as still wont pick up. I didnt download the new update yet but is this fixed now with the above ? Just headsup up if you are on pc you wont have this issue , this is mainly for mac...

This post was in response to a previous post that was deleted...that's all I'm saying. I am with you guys on wanting to improve Maschine. I am less excited about the pathological repetition of the same complaint over and over again. It detracts from the usefulness and fun of this forum (in my opinion).

Well, I don't know which post you meant, but that kind of positive response makes me want to vomit. :p

But seriously, I know what you mean about the repeated complaints/requests/demands, but many users see that this is the only way and that to do it in public (instead of repeated FR requests to support) is the best way. One important use of it all is that prospective buyers of Maschine can be better educated about what Maschine can't do and what it's still lacking: these are the main points of complaint by new users because, no surprise, the NI product pages gloss over what Maschine can't do and/or what's broken. Full disclosure should probably be a legal requirement for all products.

I understand that...my feeling is it becomes a slippery slope, and certain users end up posting very general negative/semi-humouristic/sarcastic remarks about N.I. that don't really inform other than to say: "I THINK N.I. SUCKS!...it just doesn't care about us and never delivers on what we want!" ...and it's obvious they're just venting their frustration and not thinking about the general health of the forum and frankly I find that toxic.

Honestly, who wants to see a variation on the same post over and over and over again?

Perhaps no-one. And probably the repeat offenders don't even want to post these things over and over again. But they're not posting with other forum users or the forum in mind directly. The repeated complaints/requests are intended for NI and to make clear what they want. So only NI can stop them really. By putting the features in Maschine or, at least, communicating with the forum and saying (again in some cases) that "x is in the plan", "y is not in the plan, sorry", maybe even "z will be seen soon".

Well that's my point, since as everyone seems to note, N.I. pays no attention to what's posted here? But the regular forum members do pay attention? So why post for N.I. if you know they're not listening??? Post instead for your fellow forum members.....

Nobody is stopping you from creating your own threads to have your own 'groovy" conversation. Guess what.. some threads and some posts you won't like here. It's the internet. For me I'm sort of fed up to the back teeth with 'what might be happening tomorrow' posts... But that is just me. People wanna discuss let them discuss.. I'm not going to bitch about it. Telling people what they should or should not be saying would be rude.

Legitimate criticism about a software product, where there appears to be zero feedback and communication channels, is far more constructive than criticism of people posting here.

There's a difference between thinking and knowing... Most users on here hope that NI are paying attention, hence posting complaint/suggestions here, but many also think they're probably not. But they don't know. We know they used to, so they still might. And many probably think that it's better to put these complaints/suggestions in public view for others to help/support with than to only contact NI directly. Which I agree with. Unless it's a RTFM situation. :p

But anyway, whatever, it doesn't much matter. If you don't like the posts/threads, don't continue to read or reply. Focus on threads/posts you do like. Y'know, like using something else if Maschine isn't for you. ;)

As most users, I really like my Maschine Mk2 and the way it integrates with the Maschine software and I can state that I'm pleased with the updates NI is providing. It's a shame that certain requested features still haven't been included with an update... Although I love my Mk2 and think my money is well spend, I'm ffing happy that I didn't buy the Maschine Studio... I mean if I would have spend about 1000 dollars on it, and experiencing the same struggles I'm having now with half the price.... Would have made me go really really mad...

What is it that makes NI not paying attention or neglecting the issues appointed on this forum... Some things I just don't understand...

If I speak for myself, I'm anxiously waiting on a way to make linear automations (it's even a standard in the industry NI represents)... And I've noticed I'm not the only one who's waiting, it's requested for like a hundred times since 2010 or so...

Macro knobs make me lose my mind even so... Man, I just want to specify a range or do SOMETHING to make it a little bit more polished sometimes. But i'm just dreaming here I guess...

I didn't (yet), but has somebody already tried contacting NI directly?

It's not that simple. It's not NI's fault if a person is full of negativity and likes to complain and whine like a little baby all day. Regardless of wanting update in the software, this behavior is negative and toxic to the community. People don't like being around constant repetitive negativity. Telling a person to just not visit a forum or community they like because a few people like whining about the same thing over and over all throughout the day every day is not fair. There is a such thing as constructive criticism and then there is just useless negativity. It's just childish and annoying and does not really help anything. Such negativity should not go unchecked. It's hypocritical and backwards to expect level headed people to keep their mouth shut and not say anything to such a person and let them spoil everyone else with negativity, yet then say the negative person has the right to constantly force his negativity on others.

This forum does not have to exist and will only be as good as the community makes it. Yes, what NI delivers or not has a huge impact on the tone here so not arguing that point. But I find the people who are always complaining constantly will do that regardless of how great the software is. That's just their personality.

There is a saying that if you don't have anything good to say then just be quite. You don't always have to talk. If the software is that bad, say your peace and leave it at that. No need to remind us the same thing every single day.
