Maschine and 2.5

Played a while with F1 and tried to make some samples in Maschine for the remix decks. Dropped it in Traktor, but cannot get the samples synchronised. I have to beatmatch manually and use nudge to get it synchronised with the master. Wondering if this is normal.

Second thing: I noticed that midiclock is less stable than previous versions. When pushing the sync button for midiclock, the BPM drops -15 or more on Maschine. Not usable this way. Anyone else having this problem? If not, it might be my setup.

 

I have Maschine and a Traktor S4 as well. I was hoping for tight integration with TP 2.5. I seem to have some workflow issues including the sync.

I'm also trying to just use Maschine in sync with my S4, but when following a Knowledge Base article.... Maschine control is lost with the sync play button (see the Maschine forum).

I'm going to PM one of the product managers to ask about a new forum for NI product combos (e.g. Traktor S4 & Maschine).

 

Keir @ NI said it is not possible for them to add a new forum for product combos...

So I posted a thread in Maschine & Traktor S4 forums to start a dialogue about the integration of the two and to start a collective of like users.

 

agreed, I bought into Traktor and Maschine so I could play live beats over Maschine and have it sync in time with traktor.
I've been using loopbe virtual midi with a pc laptop. Timing is not tight (unless you hit sync at exactly the right time, even then, not so good).
I've been told the Mac's have better timing when slaving Maschine to Traktor.
Would be nice to have these two working together tightly.

Yes, I know. Has to do with the design of the internal clock within Windows. In the previous versions, I had a setup that worked acceptable (I use in in a similar way as you do). The new version however, seems to be worse. BPM jumping around all the time and cannot keep it synced.
