I've been considering getting Maschine for a some time now and whilst it's pretty low down on the list of reasons I am curious about the Maschine library. Specifically, where there is cross-over between the Battery and Synthetic Drums 2 libraries (which I have) and the Maschine Library. The product page just gives a feel for the size of the Maschine library but no detail other than categories for the breakdown of it's contents.

Can anyone who has both shed some light?

    Thanks in advance,
    John

well if your primary concern is just about the Maschine libray conntent but already confirm about what Maschine capable of, hold off till v1.7 release. The tight integration of NI products with Maschine could makes you less concern about the library.

Excellent news, considering I just copped Komplete 7 and had resolved to just never use Battery because I didn't feel like mapping stuff...

Battery is definitely worth a closer look, as it behaves more like a traditional Drum Sampler, and the inbuilt Filters/EQs are better than Maschine.
