Maschine and Logic Pro Help

    Just bought a brand new Maschine Studio. It works fine as a plug-in inside of Logic Pro X or in Standalone. But i can't get it to work as a midi controller for things inside of Logic such as exs24 or and software instruments. My Oxygen61 midi keyboard plugs right in and works with ease as a usb controller for any instruments in logic pro. But i can't figure the same out with Maschine. I have my machine plugged into the midi in/out on my Komplete Audio 6 interface and i press Shift+CHannel and i can't get any response from anything inside logic from it. Any suggestions?
