maschine and pro tools / pattern off set problem

Hi , I write music starting with a bass line , its 2 bars count in , 8 bars intro 16 bars verse 10 bar bridge excetera ,

so i have a bass line recorded in but if i just want to jam with the verse 16 bars the off set from maschine doesnt line up.

i have tried creating scenes for each part of the song , but if i stop i have to go from the begining again to put the count in the right place.

in the verse i am using a 16 bar pattern and on the first bar of the verse in maschine it reads as the 11th bar ,

How can i jam along to the verse but make an off set that puts maschine bar one in the same place as pro tools bar one of verse ?
