Can I use the Controller Editor to set up Maschine to send Relative CC info to 3rd party sotwafre? And if only Absolute values are supported, is this likely to change?

No, you'd have to use Bome's to translate them to relative encoder messages

I also miss (N)RPN support, as with the Kore Controller, a long time feature request, so not likely to change...

Yeah I have a Kore controller, surprised it wasn't supported there but hoped it might be with Maschine. Seems crazy it's not (or won't be)! That's half of the point of endless encoders!

Didn't know Bome's could do that though. Might just be the ticket.
Not having much luck with google, is there any info you could point me towards Pizzle?

thanks, I got that far though hehe.
was wondering if you knew of any documentation on setting up that process. no worries am sure I can work it out.

On a side note - Tabsel - are N(RPN) and Relative CCs the same?
Do relative CCs actually exist, or is that more of a nickname?

I stumbled on a plugin which had a preference asking you wether you wanted the parameters to react in absolute or relative way.... can't remember where i saw that... but may be it shows that it can be managed by the receiving plugin rather than the sender. After all, it could be the plugin that says "when i receive cc number X, then take it into account only if the value I received is equal to "x" otherwise, don't bother" where x is the current value of that parameter.
interesting question, although i have no answer and only more questions :)
