Maschine changing notes upon restarting play back

I am experiencing a problem in Maschine. If I sequence a track and use a synth with a certain note value, once I hit stop and hit play again, the note value changes. Even if I press the same pad on Maschine, the note is wrong. I feel like this has been doing it since the most recent update. I have no idea why the note value is changing. Have any of you experienced this or know if it's a known bug?

Maybe that's the synth thing? What kind of synth are you using?

 

Pretty much any synth sound that comes in the NI expansion kits.

 

ah, so its not a synth exactly, its a sample..

is there confusion over the base note?..

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I guess that is a sample. Not sure I understand your question about if there is confusion over the base note. For example, if I pull up a kit and on one of the pads there is a synth sound. Without me changing the note of that pad, just playing it as it came, it will play a note (whatever is assigned to that pad). If I sequence only that note for a bar, when I stop and play it back, the note changes either a step up or down, I can't remember which. I hope that makes sense.

Also, this does not happen in stand alone mode. Only when its running within Sonar Platinum.
