Knew they couldn't resist but do this eventually. And I'm glad. I'll be ever gladderer when they release a good, wide, varied selection of them like there has been for Kore.

Or even just translate all the Kore ones into Maschine ones...

I don't think expansion packs are ripping users off if that's what you mean.

If they did re-do the Kore ones as Maschine packs (which I don't think they will at all), I would hope that they would allow existing owners of those packs to download the Maschine version too (though I doubt they would).

Now I've read the ones that are on offer so far, though, I'm less than impressed and won't be buying either, as they do seem like they're quite samey, both to each other and to some of the existing content.
Just a first impression and from the words on the pages.

I played the Vintage Heat sample, and it's really nothing too new. Not worth sixty bucks, imho.

No, I agree. Bit odd in a way that the first ones seem so much like duds... Though I'm sure some people will be happy with them. Different strokes and all that.

Use your Elements voucher and get it for thirty bucks. Actually, I am waiting for mine. I read about it in another post.

Try it. Add something you your "cart" and then put the code in and see if it adjusts the price. No purchase necessary. :p

Are you serious? We can't use our $30 voucher to buy Maschine expansions? That's really lame NI.

I purchased transistor punch 3 hours ago... My download got to 99% and then stopped as usually happens with NI downloads. I tried it again and it failed. So i deleted the cache and history to try again but I cant find any kind of link to get it in my account or anywhere on the site... nor service center... and i still havent even got a email confirmation of the purchase...

This is reeeeeally annoying me. Please let me download what ive just paid for.

So after almost two and half years of promised Maschine soundpacks they finally deliver. They were talking about soundpacks as far back as 1.0.2. Well I guess I can't complain. Maybe they will release more hip hop focused kits and sounds.

I wonder, now that v1.6 has made Maschine into a really good instrument overall, and capable of a LOT more than before, if NI are upping the prices on things which should/could have been a little cheaper.

Now that NI see how widely accepted and favoured Maschine is, have they changed their attitude to what may have been free/cheap* packs, but now are coming out with a little higher price, cos "MASCHINE 1.6 is a full blown MUSIC STUDIO"?

    * I'm not saying this pack should be free, but I'll ask you, "what would you have expected to pay for these packs back in 1.4?" (forget about inflation pls :p ) Also, I recognise the fact that NI DO release FREE content to Maschine users, and for that I AM grateful :)
