Maschine+ fails at installing any expansion library

I'm glad you were able to work things out at least. I was having your same issue when I just purchased my new + so I hoped it might help, months later for you.

 

I just bought a Maschine plus , used but in excellent condition with the box and license transfer.
I am having this same issue, internet WiFi is solid, FM8 installed fine via WiFi , SD card is ExFat with 256gb of room. None of my expansions are wanting to download.

Did I just buy a lemon? Does NI replace used Maschines? I had pretty high confidence in their quality control and have bought plenty of second hand NI items in the past, but this thread is making me worry

 

I actually managed to download byte riot, so hopefully my Maschine is not doomed. It took several attempts of telling it to download after it had the error, but I noticed that some percentage would download each time.
Bite Riot was the smallest library and still took 5 tries, so hopefully the others won’t be a hassle.
If anyone reads this and gets the errors , keep trying to download anyways. My phone gets 40Mbs on the same WiFi so I don’t think it’s the WiFi. But at least I know it’s possible to download them.

I was surprised that there doesn’t seem to be a way to transfer the expansions to the SD card from the computer. At least I could not find anything about that in several searches and watching videos. One person said they tried it and it didn’t work.

Since most people buying the most expensive Maschine are probably people upgrading, I would have thought for sure you could simply copy over your existing expansions.
For a couple it’s not a big deal but I own nearly all of them :-0

The Expansions are optimized for the M+ and not all are made available (yet) due to file format compatibility issues, see earlier in this thread.

 

Regarding which expansions are available, didnt you write

All Maschine Expansions except for Prismatic Bliss can be used on the Maschine+.

Quite a few new Expansions were released in the mean time and I haven’t checked their availability.

BTW the free Community Drive Expansions are not available as well.
