I inquired directly to Forat months ago and he emailed me back with the finished product of the very first custom Maschine he's done and this is EA-Ski's Maschine controller. His website has been updated with a lot of his new products he's done so nothing on his website but he emailed me back directly

    Directly from Forat:

"We just finished doing our first one.
It's $500 to do the paint in any color and text in what ever color you want.
$200 for woodsides or $50 more if you want one a set that has an armrest as well.
We also can change all of the pad LED's to white ones for $100"

    Thank you,

    Bruce

void the warranty real quick for aesthetics? this is a USB controller... not a PRS Hollow-Body !0 top you want the world to see... and worth thousands...

    function over form... $550. stock.
make it look cool... $1400. waste.

To each his own...If you have it why not I did it for all of my MPC's so I know i'll do it for my Maschine controller but just passing it along for other interested Maschine users.

looks great, ok now someone post up some alternatives and I'm not talking about skins but places/people to do some painting. there must be an alternative for those of us who would not spend more on a paint job than the instrument itself, no disrespect

    custom maschine pictures

    when I asked about it

    hi
a respray and screen print ( any colour / graphic ) would cost £175 , the end panels are £50 in mahogany , walnut , oak or maple , as the maschines were designed without end panels , they are tricky to fit ,

not sure how much shipping would be there and back to the US though ;) may end up being the same price in the end.

Very tempted to get the wood panels though lol

well it's looking like custom synths does work that is great quality as evidenced by skis maschine, and it looks like it cost about $240, at that price you could get several done for the price Forat charges although Forat definitely does quality work as well, but his prices are like the jacob the jewler of re-finishes.

anybody else got any ideas for getting this done stateside, if not looks like my maschine is headed overseas at some point.

whoops I guess I was a bit overstated there on the Forat prices scratch that last post
but looks like you can save a few bucks with custom synth

no, youre right. to each his own indeed. and if i could afford it i would get my lights all white and my maschine peacock blue. and i would be really really really excited and happy to do that. but i just cant afford it and im really just on a barely making bills level. and beyond that... i put so much more emphasis on function over form. and that kind of money could be invested into something that makes your music better ... which is the whole idea of what the maschine is. man o man would i like mine to be blue tho. ill just paint tapestries with notes and try to create beauty with what i have.

these customizations do look really nice tho. sorry for coming off like a D i just felt like you were being a pusher of useless enhancements. got lost in the mood.

Its all good bro I completely understand I just wanted to post this because I've seen people asking about custom Maschine work so I've been on Forat hard to a Maschine controller. Honestly I probably use custom synth to do mine Forat prices are too high lol
