I sure do. A little bit too slow tempo for me during the day, then it sounds better pitched up imo, but it's perfect for late at night. Now listening to DJ Vadim's U.S.S.R. Repertoire album. Check it out if you don't know it. I think you'll like it.

it is a rather 63- 83 speed range project , i took the metaverb on the sample track back a lil on the final mix ..... due to public demands
i know the vadim album and dig it a lot !

im very happy with the resonance so far , never thought i had to purchase additional free bandcamp downloads on day 1

 

@nobeenobe . nice samples .... in my ears the sample drowns a lil in the mix ... maybe u should eq or filter it and give it some saturation or compression to make it cut through in the mix a lil better

 

Thanks for checking out the sounds. All of the tracks are unmixed/unmastered. I'm somewhat scared to even try it, because I'll make a huge blunder and end up forgetting about the songs forever. I'm gonna grow a pair and try to do it all...I've been saying that for a year now so :S

 

@NobeeNobe: The piano samples you used on throwaways/roughdrafts Glimmer and School's Out deserve a second change.

 

What's good fellow Maschine heads? It's been out for a while, but I've done an EP, all beats were done in Maschine only, and then 2 track mixed with the vocals by the fantastic PLO of Associated Minds. Peep the free download here on bandcamp.

Do you guys chop perfect loops, or just by ear?

@max lober , im not 100 perc . sure what u mean ,... how to do it not by ear ?

i never use the auto-slice function , i do all my loops by setting the loop points manually .

 

I mean do u get a perfect loop and chop by 16th? Every snare? In sounds u like? Notes? What's your method? I personally do just where every I like but just wondering how everyone else chops.
