I like it. It made me dust off the Till Death Do Us Part album. ;)

    totally agreed ...

@boogie jones , nice vibe but all gaps in the sample make it sound a bit choppily, why dont u take small string parts to bridge them

Well actually I kind of overdid it with the Gate filter (I guess I was having to much beer while doing this beat) ...

No it sound way more clean, but still not quite right, I don't know:

Here is another one of my tracks:

It's my favorite so far, kind of laid back and stuff ..

I rather hear a reverb than a slow release. What you need is a sound in the background that glues it all together.

That's nice. Now make it sound clear.

iDP, i like it, i like it. How long did it take you?...

heres a track i sampled yesterday, it also took me awhile, sigh, but anyhow it came out finally

    Sampled: Intruders -cowboys to girls

I had very little intrumental to work with where there were no vocals, not even a whole bar, so matching up the chorus the way i wanted it to sound and then the verse took forever. I believe i couldve used some glide but im still not sure how to use it. I do reccommend useing lofi for the kicks, gives it that old school kick sound...

verse parts: took what i had, which was short, took the trumpet or trombone whatever that is haha and then reversed it, added effects and sped up some parts and then slowed down others

chorus: self explanatory, repeated a couple words like shoot em up and beat-beat em up

finally added some dj scratches to give it some edged and it was done.

    Criticism por favor :D
Pardon the length, reason is a friend of mine wants to flow over it

TacOffice, it took me like 4hrs a day for like 1 week or so ... it's still empty but I am patient. I know I will eventually learn. I like your track. it's sound good and I like the switch after your 16 .

lol wow no kidding, those are either ancient or top secret type ish* right there lol

good point though, the beat has to sound good on radio, studio monitors, everything and i think Lotuz has them all covered. (im jealous)

    Noise attempt #2

I must admit that these kind of beats make me miss the days Hip Hop was raw.

You're style is like a blend of mid eighties Hip Hop and Minimal House. I think it's interesting. Freestyle Beat #2 makes me want to make a Mantronik style beat.

Thanks for the feedback, people have been asking me what kind of style I am and I keep saying I'm not strictly hip-hop alone, I have a electronic type of sound.

I know it's kind of a weird blend, and I don't even mean to categorize myself either.
