Yes, you could reduce the bass to see if the snare sounds better that way.

Oh nevermind I misunderstood, you mean the Snare is too heavy I thought you meant like the beat was. But Ya I tuned the snare down a little because I thought it made it a little more "in tune". Guess not eh?

@Nikro: the feeling is good but the beat could be more subtile and the bass better to my humble opinion.

@Lotuz it is useless to say it rocks lol ... have you played the beat by yourself or takin' a breakbeat ?

    It's a classic breakbeat.

Thanks (although it useless to say). ;)

you made me scared lol ... I'm very kind of tryin' to reproduce the feeling of a breakbeat loop. I take it as a challenge but never succeeded to play my drums as they play their :)

It's pretty complicated to create a realistic sounding breakbeat from single drumsounds. You need a multisampled drumkit for this. Maschine has a feature called velocity destination to simulate this, but this doesn't make it sound exactly the same as a real drumkit. And then you still have to find the right reverb.

@Nekkron99 thanks for the feedback man..yea the bass is muddy, but that kinda was the theme of the song to have that kinda off beat plodding (is that a word?) bass line..give it that "evil dude" feel...i agree the sample should have been used differently to not overdo it..drums definitely have to be more inspired/harder...

most of you won't understand the lyrics though, as it's swiss-german... even pawcut should face some problems here :D

    That's a dope track.

It sounds a more like dutch than german, but I haven't got a clue what he's rhyming about.
