im digging the the little hats or shakers cant tell, panning in and out, not too much, PERFECT!
also is that an effect on the drums? or a vinyl layered?

i usually sample most of my sounds...but since i'm just trying to find out how Maschine works everything in that beat is from the factory banks...well except from the voice samples...

Yeah, that's pretty ill. I like the vocal samples alot, and the minimal use of those keys was dope. What other stuff you got?

 

man soooo after reading and finally breaking out of the factory sound bank, I FINALLY SEE THE LIGHT, did this in an hour or so, quick mix, but what i have learned and read is you guys are sampling a lot of your own drums/snares etc etc. So I figured my beats will sound much better if I do the same. And so far with this small test I LOVE IT. hahaha

only thing i used was the bass from the maschine sound library. Im sure at first you cant tell but myself after using the factory sounds verses sampled drums, snares and hats, it gotta more hip hop feel to it. Anyways i hope you all know what i mean. Going on my fourth month making beats, I think im progressing at a decent rate, just gotta try new things or stumble upon something to make you open your eyes (and ears) i guess...here it is

@Tac beat was alright. Try layering. Like I'll take a kick from some kicks recorded live, layer it with a vinyl kick and maybe another one from some other kit I've got. But you've been producing for only 4 months and have a soundclick? How is that goin?

 

@nicro yea man thanks, as far as the soundclick? Im not sure what you are asking, I only opened it up so I could post the songs on here so i could get some feedback, thats why this noob has a soundclick :lol:

As far as layering, yep lot to learn and appreciate your input. I got so much to learn lol, I just read a thread about input and output and compression, geeez im lost lol. Give me time haha
