I've searched and searched and searched but am still CONFUSED as to how to do program changes so that I can actually use maschine with logic. I have learnt how to use maschine quite well on its own but I cant do much more becuase I dont know how to even start doing arrangements. Also I am confused as to how I can do automation in maschine.

If someone could PLEASE either do a step by step run down of how to do this, or even better a video tutorial that would be EXTREMELY appreciated:D :D :D

Thanks guys! And sorry for creating yet another post about this topic. I know ppl have posted scene change templates etc but call me STUPID but I cant figure it out

how well do you know logic...even i had not read the topic posted by sowari til just now, but here is how i got around working with logic and maschine.

create a new "software insrtument" track
load up the maschine au plugin
mess around til you're ready to record (this step can be done it two ways..you can either record on the fly, or record into maschine groups/scenes etc.)
before laying down some choons, route the OUTPUT of of your maschine track to a buss.
then, create a new audio track
set the input of the audio track to whatever buss you're sending the maschine to.
    record enable the audio track
    lay down a phat beat.

this is the workaround i figured out. its a bit tedious, but once you have recorded the various parts to your song, you can arrange/messwit it in logic

    cheers

i tried what you said and it worked, but im just having two problems now, once is not being able to hear logic out my speakers and two there s huge latency in logic when using my maschine
    ---
i fixed the logic out speakers problem now i just gotta get maschine working with logic with no latency/drag/delay

interestingly, there is no setting for latency within the AU plugin...i guess you'll have to play around with the latency settings inside of maschine standalone, and also tweak logic prefs..

cheers for having got it working so far :)

I understand how to do this although I am looking for a way to use maschine with midi and not have to route the audio through busses. Does NI plan to release a update so that maschine could be editied like Ultrabeat?

    thanks
