I'm and old school kat from the mpc 60 to the 4000 setup kind of days. I just went ALL digital. I just got my Maschine and i'm ready to do the thang millinum style, but the maschine keeps crashing my laptop. Ive checked all my ports. The Maschine is on its own dedicated port ,no hub. And also, after I installed it, my pro tools inputs are EXTREMELY LOW! I KNOW BETTER than to be using a PC, but I havent sold enough leg for my MACBOOK PRO yet! So can someone help me out til I can get back out there on "the Stroll" HP 1.66ghz, XPsp3, Pro Tool LE 003R, Maschine 1.5, Komplete 6, Traktor Pro 1.2.6, EMU Axniox Midi Controller

your laptop might be a bit under powered.

    System Requirements for Maschine are:

Windows* XP (SP2, 32 Bit) / Vista* (32/64 Bit), Windows 7* (32/64 Bit), Pentium* or Athlon XP 2 GHz, 2 GB RAM

i presume you ran Maschine in Standalone before using with Pro Tools?

PS. if a PC expert could help, that would be nice... i only know about Macs ;)

    1) You're definitely underpowered
    2) PT inputs are low? That doesn't make any sense- Maschine has zilch to do with that.
    3) PCs work fine; I use one myself. Your statement's illogical...

Yeah Ol Skool Kat, your computer needs a lil more processing power. I also run my maschine on a PC, but it gives me a little problems. I'm gonna have to step up to a higher processor and more RAM. Good luck Bruh.

    Peace
