    Wuz Up Maschine Family!

    Deep Breath........

So I'm using Maschine 1.5 in plugin mode w/ Cubase 5. I love the integration but I'm having some issues and hoping you guys will share your knowledge with me to help me get around these issues.

Issue #1- Getting Maschine To Follow Cubase Transport Controls

So I have my maschine pattern going along side a other VI's I recorded and I press stop on the Cubase transport to get it to go back to Bar 1 of the 8 bar loop I'm recording. When I press start again Maschine is starting at Bar 5 Instead of starting from Bar 1 like my other plugins are...So its throwing everything off I have my other synth parts from Nexus starting at Bar 1 and Maschine at Bar 5.....

What the hell am I doing wrong?

    Issue #2- Maschine Loop Overlapping

So I press play on the Cubase transport and I can hear a kick being triggered at the beginning of my loop like the end of my loop somehow is overlapping to the start of my loop..... My loop points are set correct but somehow the last part of my pattern is being played at the beginning....

Again What the Hell Dude LoL!

Some I frustrated and need your help I know someone out there is this big Maschine family has the answer or some advice to what I'm doing wrong. Please post if you do!

in your screeshot, you only have the Chorus Scene looping - the gray rectangle underneath selects which Scene(s) loop. you can drag the handles of that to make more Scenes Loop.

you Manuals will have more info on this ;)

Sorry maybe I wasnt clear when I explained but...

Im not trying to get more scenes to loop I understand how to do that 100% what I'm saying is that when I click on the left marker and cubase takes the cursor back to the beginning of the loop Maschine doesnt start the pattern I have selected at the position of my marker in Cubase which would be Bar 1 instead its starting at Bar 5. I know its probably something simple and I know you know your Maschine stuff front to back.

There really should be more documentation or a tutorial section of videos on using maschine as a plugin inside some of the more popular DAWs like Cubase & Logic. I know I would greatly appreciate it and so would my fellow Cubase & Logic users!

you tried shifting your cubase project to compensate that?

    Yep tried that!

Since you can't control Maschine transport functions and its supposed to be controlled completely by Cubase in this situation it doesnt match up to my loop points i set in my song.

For instance I have a 8 bar chorus in cubase and a scene setup in Maschine for this. I set my left & right markers in cubase to loop just this 8 bar chorus and I want maschine to follow exactly where I'm at so my drums and my sequenced parts are matched up. When I press the marker to go to the first bar of the chorus my cubase move back to the beginning like it should it but Maschine doesnt and it only will allows me to start at bar 5 of my maschine pattern. When I look at my controller I can see that maschine bar time status is different than cubase so its not starting and ending at the same point.

I dont know if Im the only one that has this issue and maybe Im doing something wrong but nobody has posted anything close to a answer so I'll keep trying.

like i stated before shift your cubase project hols shift press a to select everything and move the cubase stuff to the right accordingly.

if the bar length of your pattern is 8 bar then they will match up etc

cubase's bars are awkward they start at 1 so a 4 bar loop will end at 5,

just shift your cubase project as thats what i do
