Maschine ist NOT copying sustain Pedal messages with Midi Notes

    Hi ----

    I have K5 inserted into a Group inside Maschine.
    I have played a pattern that I like and now I am copying it from pattern 1 to Pattern 2,
    to expand on that phrase...

    Only problem is that Maschine is ONLY copying the notes, NOT the sustain pedal messages. And it goes without saying that when playing a piano, those messages are playing almost as big a part as the notes...

    I love Maschine but I would really like some professionalism applied to all its features.
    The consistency of this software is lacking completely IMO... Not copying the sustain pedal midi controls is just a very small part of it...

    This is happening when you duplicate and/or split the pattern?

    Don't know, when I've copied patterns, especially with piano, sustain is always there for me...

    Hi

    i'll just right click the pattern and choose copy, the move to the next pattern, right-click and choose paste...

    No sustain pedal messages, at all:eek:
    ---
    That is really odd, I have just tried this on 3 different Mac with Stand Alone, RTAS and AU... And they ALL don't copy no sustain pedal messages...

    Hold Pattern + Duplicate then hit the original pad then your new one. Or use split/compare. Check your manual for that one.

    thanks a bunch for this one....Saved my day ;-)


    Still, copying in the user interface per mouse (ctrl-Click + Copy from Drop Menu) does not copy those messages.. Must be a bug there...

    Dragging the Pattern with alt pressed to a new pattern copies the messages....
