My main question is for Mac/Maschine Users:

CAN I DELETE THE NI MASCHINE "EXPANSION PACKS" OUT OF THE "DOWNLOAD" SECTION OF MY MACBOOK AIR?

I feel like they are taking up a lot of space being in the downloads, but I don't know if I need to keep them there in order for them to work in the Maschine Software or if you can delete the downloads once you update it into the Maschine Software.

I need to create more disk space on my Macbook Air...I have 8 NI Maschine expansion packs that I have downloaded and updated into my Maschine software. (I have the latest of the Maschine 2.0 software and update regularly).

Has anyone done this to create more space on their mac? I'm afraid if I delete them in downloads I will lose the ability to use them in the software.

Archive them to an external drive. The actual files that Maschine and other NI apps access are in the [HD]/Users/Shared folder

As Hyjax said, archive them.. Or trash them, up to you. They should just be the .iso files for installation, so long as you didn't install the expansions to your downloads folder (idk if that's even possible). Maybe just double check the path that Hyjax specified to be sure they're where they should be. With 8 expansions, you're looking to save upwards of 10gb of there

Thanks Bro! That 10GB would come in handy. I have 8 NI expansions and then the entire NI Maschine 2.0 library in my downloads folder. I'll definitely make sure they are in the right place and saving that much storage would be huge for me.
