Im new to maschine. I've downloaded all the software and drivers that im aware of. Im using a macbook pro ios x el capitan. My maschine mikro 2 works when i click a sound using the software. I can even hear playback on my laptop, and I can see the pad light up and respond to my laptop, but when i press a button on the actual maschine, nothing happens. Can someone help me troubleshoot the issue, please?

    Hey Tillman,

Did you ever find a solution for this? I'm having the same issue.

    -Thanks

I'm also experiencing this same phenomenon (though still on Yosemite 10.10.5). Over the last few months, I've noticed my Maschine controller locking up in MIDI mode and with the Maschine software more and more frequently. Now, however, it has become completely unresponsive -- though it appears to receive data from Maschine software and the Controller Editor fine.

NI support, thus far, has suggested all the typical things I would do before contacting them -- i.e. swapping cables, switching ports, uninstalling the driver, doing a clean install of the latest driver with the hardware disconnected, updating the firmware, etc. Still the problem persists. I think the hardware just died, to be honest.

Here's a video I made at the request of tech support that clearly illustrates the issue:
