Maschine Mikro problems

    HI, I recently ordered a maschine mikro through the mail and was really excited, everything seemed to b working, installation was long but complete and all updates and upgrades were installed. Now i turned on my Maschine program on my laptop, plugged in my maschine mikro, and there was a flash of light across the cintroller and that's it, don't know what i did wrong, please help!

    does the led screen on the mikro display anything? or are all the pad LEDs and the screen off?

    the flash of light across the controller is normal.
    have you tried plugging in the mikro before starting the software? although that shouldn't matter.
    when you do this does the LCD screen display anything?
    (it should say.. Start Maschine or press Shift+F1 for midi mode)

    All the pad lights are off and so is the little screen

    turn everything off.
    Plug in micro and reboot.
    Start Maschine software.
    It should work.
