Maschine (MK1) still not recognized after basic troubleshooting

Hey,

My Maschine (MK1) was working fine two days ago but now its not recognized by my computer.
This has happened to me a few times in the past and uninstalling then reinstalling Control Editor fixed the problem.
I tried few reinstalling methods like turning off all audio related hardware before installing the driver, uninstall > restart > install > plug Maschine, etc etc. and none is working .

Some more info:
NIHardware Services is active.
My Maschine software is up to date @ 1.8.2
Control Editor is up to date @ 1.6.2
Uninstalled and reinstalled Control Editor in different ways.

I contacted tech support but we know how long that can take....

Any help is appreciated

I've had the same issue on Windows 8 however I you have not mentioned what OS you are on.

Here's what I did on windows 8 :

Disconnect Maschine. Then try the following.
Go into device manager and turn on "view hidden devices" via the view menu.
Once done, you can try deleting the problematic drive profile, allowing it to be rediscovered the next time it is plugged in.
In the diagram below you can see USB connections greyed out, any non specifics can be deleted safely/removed. If you note at the bottom I have a Virus this I leave as at this time it's connected but switched off, however installed fine.

 

after a long time i installed maschine mk1 again on my window 8,
do i have to install 1,0,1.....up to 1.8 to make it work? or only the last issue works fine..?
samples are missing all the time..

other question , can i use the 2,0 on a mk1?

please help getting mad ..tks

 

Im on Win7 64bit.

I dont know, you should start a thread about it. My guess would be 1.5+lib and 1.8?

Unfortunately, there was nothing i can find that helped me identify Maschine in device manager .

Tech Support responded suggesting to optimize my Win7 setup to avoid performance issues and directed me to this familiar link when building my DAW
