Maschine mk2 as an F1, Possibly?

Looks like this controller should be able to act as a F1 or very similar to it, I would be all over this then!

NI, why wait till later, get us excited now and enable/announce this feature.

 

This is the obvious first thought, but that definitely would have been a giant feature addition if they were ready. they are still perfecting the F1, and they have already stated that they will not move on to other remix deck possibilities until that is perfect.

I'm probably holding back on the purchase until Traktor integration is announced and working for the MK2. the color pads mean nothing to me unless the remix decks are the reason.

 

This is what the back of the F1 box said:

"Export your productions from Maschine to the F1 for immediate use **
** = this feature will be available in future release"

The "future release" being the Maschine MKII, I presume.

 

"Future release" could be a year from now. and that also says "to the F1" not Maschine works as an F1. I'm pretty sure that would be all over the maschine info page. the only thing hinting towards integration is "TRAKTOR PRO 2 to add more dynamics to your live set. The colored pads and buttons let you see your sounds" but still vague.

i will not buy an F1 when i have a perfectly good 16 pad controller in maschine.. but i would upgrade to maschine II if it replaces an F1 with Traktor..
