This is the reason I bought a Mikro, had some sort of feeling there would be an updated controller, but to be honest, I'm only interested in updated software for now .... but it does look real nice!

Next year I will upgrade to the MKII :)

The BIG Question for me is: Will it have a FULL Midi implementation.
If it doesn't it will probably never come.

The screen (White over black) is dope...also the casing...
The overall mk2 is ugly as hell...Maybe the colors are so usefull but it's a design fail. Look the actual maschine black-orange-blue. NI should change graphic designers...hahaha.
Hope Saintjoe is right and this ain't the maschine 2 we all are waiting.
    cheers

kind off funny. the rgb-leds in traktor F1 are mainly useful for playing loops, and that is exactely the feature maschine is so missing (latch/non latch looping without sequencing)

looking at the software pictures, it says "All users of MASCHINE 1.8 get the full version of modern legend MASSIVE. This monster synth contains 1,300 ready-to-go sounds, all instantly browsable and tweakable using the hardware."
I take your word for it NI! I'll buy the new maschine later but for now give me massive :)

Can't really say any positive or negatives about this new controller. But it is far from what I had in mind for a new controller. I will buy it just because......:|

You will be able to use both or sell your old Maschine as I believe they will offer a crossgrade controller only, for existing owners. Because on the online shop I can't see them selling the MK1 for $449 without software.
