Maschine - Monolith Style Kits?

Thinking of buying this next week. Can you save your drum kits monolith style? You know like you did with Battery & Kontakt. Being able to save the samples used with the actual kit, as one single file is a big + for me. Especially for backup purposes.

No. The kits are saved as groups and samples, and not as actual kits per se.

Dissapointed about not being able to save kits as single files though. Would have been a big plus when backing up your kits and also taking it on the road by running it from a different computer.

 

wow, that's a surprise. How else will NI try to sell you add-on packs later! You know they are gonna do it.

 

you can Tag Sounds (in the Browser) under a specific title. that title could be the name of the kit.

but also, if you create a 16 Sound Kit as a Group, then you save that Group with a title of your choice. Groups can contain Sounds, Patterns and FX. you will then be able to load that Group into nay Maschine Project
