    This "He doesn't agree with my view so he must be getting paid by the company" routine has to stop.

    No...I'm not.

    I'm not an employee and never have been LOL...as a matter of fact I've been aggravated by NI products in the past. I just think people should stop focusing on negatives (some real, some perceived) and focus on making music. I guess I'm just an optimist who expects NI to continue improving this product...I hope my optimism is not unfounded.

    The comedy is that he's on here saying it's absolute rubbish, but then selling it and saying it's amazing. I'm definitely wanting one, just waiting on that update. It looks awesome as a Ableton & Traktor Scratch Pro controller too if it works like in the NI videos.

    Can anyone confirm that it does?

    Update 1.1 :)

    * MIDI Out Mode for sounds
    * MIDI In for sounds and groups
    * Drag-and-Drop audio export for scenes and patterns in host
    * Record and trigger scenes switches via MIDI notes in host
    * Scene retrigger option in plugin mode
    * Loading groups without patterns
    * Additional slicing sizes (1/8th etc.)
    * REX file import (tbc)
    * Scene naming
    * Adjustable metronome volume
    * Record Count-In option
    * Quick adjustment of group and sound volumes on controller

    Sounds Good to me

    I never said it was rubbish - it is a good device, just not for me.
    It has it faults but it will be updated and updated etc, etc.

    And to sell my item Im gonna polish it up - anyone looking at the listing is interested in buying right? Focus on the positives.......

    For me personally Im ditching the PC stuff for awhile and getting on some real instruments (ie the drums), I get to caught up with the latest gadgets. Gonna slow down a little - I personnally wish I didnt rush out and buy this but there aint no use in wishing so thats why Im selling.

    The end

    I wouldn`t be so quick about saying "I will never go back".

    IMHO, there is only 1 or maybe 2 MPC`s which cut it.

    The MPC60II and maybe the MPC3k.

    The MPC60II has in my opinion the BEST swing I have ever felt.
    (not heard...I know, I said this before, and I`m sounding like a record skipping):D

    BUT, NI`s Maschine does have it`s advantages, over any MPC, and my only annoyance is that I assumed that it would have more "advanced" editing features on the sampling side.

    This is something that can be changed with future updates, and also the reason why I`m looking into getting a second unit.

    Yeah, I would say that it pretty much does what they show in the vids in that regard. I use it as my main Ableton controller (along with a UC-33 and an Oxygen 8) for the time being, although it will eventually be replaced by the Akai APC-40 in that role. But the Maschine does some of what the APC-40 will do right now, so that's cool. Overall, it's a pretty good MIDI controller, although it did take a little bit of work to enable Instant Mappings in Ableton, so that way it performs as a decent pad controller. But the DAW template works pretty well out of the box, I only changed a few things on my template, in fact.

    I haven't had a chance to try out the Traktor template yet, but I may do that tonight. I'll let you know how that works out when I do.
