    Bouncing

My question is this.. after you've creating your song, picked the order of your scenes etc etc, can you export each individual instrument/track for the duration of your song in one move (like Logic's "Export All Tracks as Audio Files" function)? That's my one frustration with battery... when you're going to mix you can export all your audio instruments, audio tracks, etc, but if you have kick, snare, hats, shaker, and 10 other things running off battery you have to export them one at a time. It would be great if this would give you the functionality to export your splits automatically.. If this makes any sense.. ?

    Thanks

you can export ALL Scenes or Loop Range (that is which scenes are looping e.g.3-5).

and from different outputs: Master (everything); Group (an individual Group which could be 16 drums or a melodic instrument); or Sound fom within a Group (which could be just a Kick Drum).

    Export

Sorry I mustn't be very bright when it comes to this terminology! So does this mean I can export splits from beginning to end of the song in one go? Is it so long as I've assigned each "sound" to a different output?

well i don't understand what you mean by Splits ;)

i am talking about the Export Audio facility in Maschine. this saves Audio Data onto your HardDrive as Audio Files. you can then place these Audio Files onto Audio Tracks into your DAW.

using Separate Outputs to record into your DAW is a separate thing. here individual, Sounds and/or Groups can be sent to one of 8 Separate Outputs.

sorry.. by splits I just mean each instrument in it's own separate file, like if you're going to send off for mixing. I don't mean recording back into your DAW. I just want to know if from beginning to end of my song, if it lets me export each individual track/sound separately like:

    kick
    snare
    hat
    shaker
    tom 1

etc etc, from start to finish of the song.

yes, for the entire length of the Song you can assign a specific kick, snare, hat, shaker, tom to individual outs... to me mixed in your DAW and or on a Mixing Desk (if you have a Sound Card with Separate Outputs) for a Gig.

but for me this is not exporting. for me, exporting is saving (bouncing) some Audio from your DAW onto your Hard Drive.

right.. yeah I DON'T mean assigning an output for playback in a daw. I mean saving the files to the hard drive.. so you have a file named kick.wav (for example) that contains all the sound "kick" for the entire length of the song, snare.wav hat.wav whatever instruments you're using on maschine, exported to individual files to save on a hard drive, like if you're preparing tracks to send to a mixer (as in mixing engineer, not DAW mixer).

So that's a yes.. you can export each track/instrument to a separate wave file?

yes you can. in Maschine terminology that could be one of 16 Sounds from within a Group. or it could mean a Group that just has a single Sound.

have you watched the Maschine Video Tutorials yet?
