    Hello NI Forum

    Newbie/first post.

Pad #3 on my Maschine MKI is starting to act up (sound gets stuck, pad auto-activates while pressing other pads, sometimes causing an intermittent change of sound/loss of treble).

    Here's a short clip: URL = https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/101653378/MaschinePad3.wmv

In the video, the pad sensivity (preferences->pads->sensivity) is at about 70%. If I turn the pad sensivity down to about 30% it's a bit better, but then I have other pads that start to get unresponsive.

Did anybody here have the same or similar issues? Since the controller hasn't been used much do you think that it's more a circuit board or a sensor problem. The Maschine Controller is out of warranty.
I'll contact the local NI rep for a quote anyway, but it would be useful to know if this is a known issue. Also, if somebody here had the same or similar issues with some pads - if you got it repaired, what did they do and how much did the repair cost.

    Thanks!

I have a similar issue with my < 1 year old Maschine MKII, but not nearly as bad as in your video. For me it's pad #4, which I usually don't use that much. Sometimes it just stays in "pressed" condition. I still have warranty on the controller but I'm not very excited about it in because of such a (currently) minor flaw. Yet I will defenitely regret it if the problem persists, or worsens.
I wish you good luck fixing it, if I should learn anything new about this I'll put it here.

Hello psifidelicat, thank you for the reply. I've had the Maschine controller exchanged by the local Native Instruments rep. Had to pay a surcharge as it was out of warranty, but the price was fair.

To the others here - THANKS A LOT FOR THE MANY REPLIES.....:thumbsup::thumbsup:

It's always nice to get such a vast support and assistance on a matter.
