    Hi Guys,
Apologies in advance if this has been covered, I searched but couldn't find anything specific. I just moved from an MPC2000 to Maschine and am loving it except for one thing, the pads seem to be very loose, to the point where sometimes I can put a finger on each pad in a row and put light pressure on them, and all 16 pads move back and forth. Is this normal? or have I got a faulty unit? Sometimes they dont do this, but sometimes they do which leads me to think it's an issue of bad glueing or something.

    Thanks for your help.

The pads are one piece of material, and its not glued or tightened to the print to avoid pressure damage.
If I understand you right your concern is that this is wrong, that you can move the entire pad "coat".

Its quite normal and as long as each pad respond to velocity and triggers as its neighbours you dont have defect hardware. The trigger behind the pad has quite a big contact surface and will not be damaged or "skewed" by you moving the pad coat around.. in fact.. it will most likely clean the contacts a little.

However, if you see different velocity response for each pad please get in contact with support

Mine does not move adjacent pads. Is this a newer hardware revision?
